What's in a name ?

What's in a name ?

Hello. This blog is the part of pre-thinking activity task. In this blog some questions will be addressed.

This is the famous line from the William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet.
“What is in a name” means, name of a thing does not matter as much as the quality of the thing.

What is your name? What is the meaning of it ?

My name is Dhatri.

One of the menaing is earth it is based on the name of Earth, Goddess Parvati.  Often name is attributed to the person by the family members so there is no choice to the person. However, in my case I believe my name is unique.

The name Dhatri is of Sanskrit origin and has various meanings depending on the context. In Hindu mythology, Dhatri is often associated with the goddess Dhatri, who is considered the nourisher and sustainer of life. Dhatri is also recognized as a divine nursemaid and is portrayed as a motherly figure who provides nourishment and protection.

What qualities commonly linked with your name do you believe reflect your attributes?

Grounded and pragmatic. You have great systems in place for getting things done, which is great, because your sense of determination is strong.visionary,  natural leader, ambitious and freethinking. Having an excellent work ethic and can do your job with high amounts of energy. Compassionate person who feels things deeply. It makes sense, then, that you are also artsy and creative, with a great eye for everything from fashion to composition.

In terms of personality traits, individuals with the name Dhatri are often known to be nurturing, caring, and compassionate. They tend to have a strong sense of responsibility and are natural caregivers.

(AI may put me in totally different surroundings )

I believe in the idea of Simon De Beauvoir that rather than essence precedes existence, existence must precede the essence. What I mean is the preconcieved notion of my name I develop may other attributes. However the leadership skill, ambition, freethinking and workethics are true to my personality.

Why do you think the name is important?

Name is important there are numbers of reason of it. Let's discuss one by one.

First of all of course it is connected with our identity. The person is known by their name they after 6 days of their birth especially in Indian tradition till the death even after the death.

The name has nothing to do with ourselve many people will argue that too much affection with name may leads to some pronlems like narcissism. Nonthless, some affection is needed.

Afterall human run after whole life just for the sake of the name and their heridity. For instance there is deeply rooted patriarchal thought of humans too keep their nameline floting through the world by having sons.

Of course name represent you as whole without even your presence one can have aura of the person by the name. Name becomes more important when one has achievement and success in the life because this all connects with your name similar to negative traits.

Thank You.
