Poetry Recitation Competition

Today, on 7 February we had portray recitation competition in our college. All the students as well as professors and our principal participate enthusiastically in it. It is quite new experience for everyone. As I got chance to do board work , it's like whole process from arranging things then perform and getting reward.

This is my first experience of poetry recitation , I choose Vinod Joshi's poem " Kunchi apo baiji." As I heard it very first time and found it very interesting because it is so deep in meaning.

Here is full poem...

When a girl get married leave all the things including family and even herself behind. When she grown-up and getting married she lost her childhood. Her innocence and her favourite games. Here through the voice of married girl poet do satire on society on their social traditional which are in a way not good.

Married girl ask for key of her box in which her childhood get hidden. Then she tells that remove her hand prints from wall in a way make her free from social conventions and remove "mindhal from  her hand hear mindhal symbolises for social boundaries and give her "pachika" (childhood). Asking for open the window which lead her to the freedom of everything. Then questioning that on which time they welcomes her bad fortune. Here kalarav again symbolises her innocence and childhood.

In the next stanza she is telling that the people folded whole house hold things in her "gharcholu"( wedding dress) , here it showns that all types of responsibility of marriage had given to her. Then they sending back river of her from unknown threshold, here sending her at unknown place. The girl is struggling through the situation. Telling that go away from her way and questioning again with which axe they cut their grand father's banayan tree. Here asking about her individual freedom and her all life style which she left at her parent's house, how can they say to forget the things and act as they say.

In a way whole poem is so deep in meaning and heart touching.  Sacrifice of women when she gets married is not tiny. Sometimes we ignore it but this poem is one the best way to express it.

Analysis  of the poem :

Poem :

When the bare feet of the baby beat across the grass
The little white feet nod like white flowers in the wind,
They poise and run like ripples lapping across the water;
And the sight of their white play among the grass
Is like a little robin’s song, winsome,
Or as two white butterflies settle in the cup of one flower
For a moment, then away with a flutter of wings.

I long for the baby to wander hither to me
Like a wind-shadow wandering over the water,
So that she can stand on my knee
With her little bare feet in my hands,
Cool like syringa buds,
Firm and silken like pink young peony flowers.

First stanza:

In the first stanza poet begins with describing little baby's bare feet among the grass as white flowers (simile) which was nooding in the wind. The poiseness of that feet is like ripples of water. Then he compared it with Robin's (one type of bird) song which was winsome in hearing. Poet again compare two feet with two white butterflies, here butterflies symbolises rebirth in context of baby's rebirth of running. Two butterflies sitting on the flower for a moment and then away with flutter of wings, here this is showing quickness and unpredictability of baby.  Delicacy of baby and her natural not binding her, she is free for doing everything.

Second stanza:

In the second stanza poet yearning for baby's arrival. In a way he is trying to catch baby's attention so that she will come to him. Baby's nature is to wander so it's difficult to catch them. She is wandering like wind-shadow over water. He wany that she will stand on his knee with little bare feet, here feet symbolises for treasured and freedom. Then he compared feet with syringa ( one type of flower) buds, which is cool and pink peony (flower) which is form, silken and young.

With the symbol of baby it's showing wildness and newness which is lost in anyone older. As poet gives here freedom of everything to baby that is why it's progressive poem.

Theme :

1. Beauty
2. Childhood
3. Family
4. Father
5. Parenting
6. Nature
7. Pablic domain

Figure of speech:

In this poem poet follow free verse to show the freeness of baby to go anywhere. There is no rhythm scheme followed apart from knee & me in second stanza. White colour is showing innocence of baby which was used in various comparison including white flowers and white butterflies. Barefoot is symbol of freedom. Poet uses simile of flowers to compare with feet's tenderness.

Conclusion:

This is short but deep poem as it was published in modern time poet throughout the poem talking about independent value and vitality. By taking a metaphor of baby poet reflecting emerging new values, naturalistic structure is one of them. This poem is in a way following romentic themes and so realistic in nature that readers can connect with the feelings.

The God Of Small Things 💫

Hey everyone,

This blog is based on our paper "Indian Writing" 's unit The God of the small things.

1. To what extent are race and religion important in this text? How far it is important for the society. Give your views.

# Race in the text:

In The God of Small Things all the characters especially Major victims faces race. There is main race between the white race and brown race. Everyone regards the English so highly, an Englishman would be incapable of such a travesty–hence the Englishman is more honorable, decent, and virtuous than an Indian man. Roy This internalized racism grows becoming more than a feeling of inferiority to the English. . Despite Velutha’s birth into the Untouchable caste, the author makes clear that the foremost distinction in Velutha is his dark color.  hierarchal distinction of skin color in India. This can be seen in relation to the caste system as well as the family structure.

# Religion in the text:

In The God of Small Things', religion is portrayed as a source of tradition, societal conventions, and even conflict. As the novel is set in Kerala, India, there are two main religious forces present - Hinduism and Christianity. The blending of the two, therefore, form an unwitting paradox of values. Ammu's family, for instance, is pre-dominantly Catholic. However, they still respect and observe the Hindu caste system, even as it contradicts the teachings of the Catholic church. While the role of religion in the novel is tangential, it provides an invaluable insight into why the characters act as they do - as, depending on how it is wielded, religion can either be an oppressive or benevolent force.

I think as it's 21st century one must have to come out from this rigidity. We are youngsters and future of everyone we must have to believe in equity as well as faith is good but be aware about not to lied in superstition.

2. Which is your favourite character ? Why?

Ammu is my favourite character among all the characters still I like Velutha too.

  • Ammu is strong and indipendent women.
  • Believed in herself and single handedly maintain everything.
  • Her past helped her to shape her character.
  • She also trying to become best daughter and elder sister.
  • She proudly gave devorced his toxic husband and not feeling shameful for this act. Kind of strength you need while you are fighting against the society.
  • Ammu want that her both children's upbringing become well.
  • Ammu was great lover though she knew that Velutha was from lower cast still she loved him.

3. If you are the author of the text , what changes you would like to make in the text..?

  1. First I do change in Ammu's life as she treated well by even his husband as well as other characters.
  2. Then I removed the incidents of theatre which was happened with Estha.
  3. Then I also try to save Sophie mol so that children don't faces struggle.
  4. I made every character's mindset broader so that they treated lower people in good way.
  5. I completed love story of AMMU and Velutha.
4. Two articles about novel .

The children are one of the most vulnerable classes in family and society. They were tormented perpetually in their life in different stages of their life. The theme of trauma is widespread in the novel, The God of Small Things through the deplorable living conditions of the children and the truma in their life.
Constriction is another symptom of trauma which is visible in the character of Estha. Out of conscious pricking, Estha agreed with Rahel that it was not Velutha that they saw in History House where Police Officers had attacked him. Earlier, Rahel informed Estha that she was sure, it was not Velutha but his imaginary twin brother, Urumban from Kochi. The writer explains that Estha was initially reluctant to believe and unwilling to seek refuge in imagination. But Baby Kochamma had changed all these things. She had succeeded in bullying Estha into condemning his friend, Velutha. This betrayal was unbearable for the children whom they loved as the God of small things. The guilty feeling Estha felt in his life for betraying an innocent man haunted the whole life. Out of trauma, sometimes Estha whispered in Rahel’s ear that you were right, it was Urumban. For the sake of appeasing his guilty consciousness, Estha finally agreed with Rahel.

Significantly, the characters rarely watch the horizon. Instead their eyes are focused on “Small Things” – minute details such as the life of insects – so that they are rarely seen to look forward or far away. The narrative abounds in examples showing striking elaborations on the tiny visual details to which the children are attentive. Estha, while retching, is staring at a basin: “The basin had steel taps and rust stains. A brownwebbed mesh of hairline cracks, like the roadmap of some great intricate city. Thoughts hovered over the . . . Basin City. But the basin men and basin women went on about their usual basin business. Basin cars, and basin buses . . . basin life went on.”  Although the scope is limited to a small basin in a public toilet, the character’s imagination broadens the perspective, so that the idea of the horizon is to be found on a symbolic rather than on a literal level. In The God of Small Things, descriptions rarely embrace a vast horizontal expanse, but jump from one tiny detail to another. The incipit already discloses this preference for discontinuous details and for vertical lines over horizontal ones through the image of the pouring rain: “slanting silver ropes slammed into loose earth,” a syntagm in which alliterations in re-enact the same verticality on the micro level of the letter. As a result, the opening description follows a visual, vertical trajectory, leading the eye from the sky to the earth – down the electric poles –, and from the roof of the house down the walls to the “undergrowth” of the garden.

Araby by James Joyce

 Hey everyone,

This blog is based on our paper "Study of English Literature" 's unit named "Araby".

James Joyce was haibodend  writer and he is famous for his experimental writing. He was born in catholic family.

Born : 2nd February 1882

Died : 18 JANUARY 1941

His higher education was done in "Clongowes wood college" & " Catholic National University". Very soon he became literary celebrity . In his last work Finnegans wake" which was published in 1939 during its writing he faced opthalmic problem and that is why he quoted that,

"Sound of words matter more than the site of them."

Joyce's all works are somewhere intertextual that is why it is very hard to identify that who was influenced him. Still Gustave Flaubert and Henrik Insen's style reflects more.

Joyce exposes the world movement named "Avant-garde art" such as expressionism, dadaism, cubism. He knows multiple languages like Latin, Italian, Irish. Joyce also known for fictional writing, his first novel rather autobiographical novel was " A portrait of the Artist as a young man". Then he wrote 'EXILES'.

Joyce most famous novel was "Ulysses" published in 16 June 1994 which was also celebrated as a Bloosom Day. He wrote in the style of stream of consciousness and with the help of technical narration.

"I've put in so many onigams and puzzles that it will keep the proffesor, busy for centuries arguing over what I ment, and that's the only way of insuring one's immorality."

* A critical summary of Araby:

Dubliners published in 1914,it comes up with fifteen stories. All the stories present life in Irish capital in terms of moral and material milence in Dubliners destiny.

"My intention was to write a chapter of the moral history of my country and I chose Dublin for the scene because that city seemed to me the centre of paralysis."

Joyce uses style in all story like Scorpius meanness. All Stories organised like,

1. Childhood

2. Adolescence

3. Maturity

4. Public life

Araby is last of the childhood's story, it's narrated in first person from the perspective of an unnamed boy who is verge of adolescents. First person helps the author to caaptures boy's complex and changing mood sensitivity. Araby title came from orientation fair which came to Dublin when Joyce was 12 years old.

The opening of the story= North Richment street.

Boy narrator lives with his uncle and aunt. He is remembering former tenant who was priest and he is highly influenced by his liberary some of his favourite books are..,

1. A Romance by sir Walter Scotl.

2. A Religious Tract.

3. A police agent's memoirs.

During this narrator infatuated by Mangan's sister and because of his shy nature he is not able to talk with her. But one day she came and asked him Weather he is going to Araby bazar? because she has already committed to attain school retreat.

Narrator told his desire to visit Araby market but when he found his uncle drunked he himself became upset. In this Joyce reflecting insansitivity of adult world towards need of young.

# Nagative Epiphany:

Joyce record movement of negative epiphany or movement of realisation. At the Araby bazar as soon as he entered there he realised Epiphany and his romentic idolised vision , attraction of Mangan's sister and also idea of love was destroyed. He leaves the bazar with shame and anger rising in him and the story ends with disappointment.

* Interpreting of Araby:

Araby is part of general apience of frustration and failure in the capital Dublin. In this for protagonist childhood encounters containent in Dublin. The obstacle of the boy is the insansative attitude of the elders in the household, it shows that even adults desire remain unfulfilled like his desire to buy love token for his beloved.

"Quality"- Thinking Task

This blog is based on Thinking Task of our unit named "Quality".

1.) Write a detailed note on theme of the "Quality".

As per our class discussion we come to know that their are lots of themes followed in story detailed description is here..

1. Struggle of immigrants:

Gesseler brother came from the Germany and started their small business years ago when narrator's father was there. At the end of story they suffer from various problems including starvation and lack of customer due to lack of advertisement. They are not able to live at the end both the brothers died. This is harsh reality of every immigrants who leave their house for survival or any other reason.

2. Struggle to maintain business:

No matter Gesseler brother's shoes are fantastic and long lasting, they were not able to run their business. However they try to make best quality and customer friendly shoes in the race of capitalism they were not survive. Their quality of shoes was so great that customer hardly visit after taking shoes. At the some point it is good to maintain quality but somehow it becomes their barrier in survival of business.

3. Capitalism:

In the morden time as well as in context of the story this idea of capitalism ruined small business. Capitalist people showing pomp to their customers and attract them. Assembly line is becoming new normal that no matter there is no need of products still it is manufacturing in bulk. Capitalist person grab all the opportunity of small business.

4. Small business vs Mall business:

Gesseler brother's shop was in posh area still arrival of big firms affect them a lot. Customer easily get attracted towards those products though they don't need it.  Gesseler brother trying their best to maintain quality but forgot to do advertisement and promoting their products that is why they were not able to survive. Even a treatment given to the customer by Gesseler brother is so good and their efforts to make shoes and giving them to the customer was main satisfactory factor for them.

5. Hypocrisy of upper class :

In this story narrator is showing his sympathy every single time when he used to visit the Gesseler brother but by buying some of the shoes he can not support them. He never try to give financial support to them. Even the English man buy their shop instead of helping them. So this upper class by showing sympathy trying to be good people . Real victims of our story not able to rise their voice.

2. What is message or moral of the story.

According to me, The message of the story is that you have to compete with time and update yourself in this morden world. Marketing and Advertising is as far as so important. On the other hand suffering of small business due to big firms and capitalist system and  at the end kill them in a way existence of small business soon will be vanished. No matter how hard you work , workaholic people will suffer because of their honest and hardwork without taking care of oneself. Mental agony of real hardworker died with them. At the end it is just hypocritical sympathy for one which is doesn't matter now.

3. Do you think artist suffer more..?  Why..?

I think in any situation or circumstances artist suffer a lot. Art for art sake will not be art for life sake. If one will choose then hardwork, paissions and many more is needed. If artist failed to survive then art will die. Societal pressure and barriers become hurdles for one. If artist can not follow so called pattern which was made by the society then it is hard for them to live. Artist choose art for life sake then it is near to impossible to be happy and contented.

4.  Select one of the product, and how will you market it..?

I choose to sell this book because of my interest area.

If I have to do marketing of this book then I will choose various ways like..

  • Technology is blessings so I will advertise my book on platform like facebook,. Twitter, instagram, YouTube.
  • Another way is I can do collaboration with various channels.
  • I can consider different writers and tell them to give their views to their audience about my book.
  • Also this book is especially for women indipendent I will provide this book on their groups like kitty , Anaganvadi etc.
  • I can also arrange one seminar for customers/ audience to do better marketing.
  • Reder group is my main focus so I dairectly connect with the customer or I can do live debate on online platform so that audience get attracted.

"Nagmadala- Thinking Task"

This blog is based on Thinking activity of our unit "Nagamandala".

1.] Who do you think is the protagonist of this play..? Why..?

According to me, Naga is protagonist of the story. Character of Naga is shining as a real hero. After marriage of Rani and Apnna , she wasn't treated in proper manner. Apnna only came in noon for lunch and then go to his mistress. By accidently he drunk the milk and fall in love with Rani also treated her like queen. Naga trying to be caring and loving husband and makes Rani feel good. Rani loves to spend time with him and as a result she got pregnant and at the end Naga proves her innocence towards society and sacrifice his life for her love.

2.] Write down five dailouge of major character.

  1) Rani :

  • "Nothing, he left me giddy. Fainted. Then got up and left."
  • "ND. No, forgive me, God. This is evil. I was about to commit."
  • "You talk so nicely at night, but during day I only have to open my mouth and you hiss like stupid snake..."
  • "We are going have baby ..It doesn't makes you happy..?"
  • "I  am young and immature, I know nothing ,but I ask."

2) Appana:

  • " Well ,then I'll be back tomorrow at noon, keep my lunch ready. I shall eat and go."
  • The blind woman and her son let them step here again and they'll know- I'll bathe."
  • " I sware to you , I am not father's son."
  • "Forgive me. I am a sinner. I was blind."
  • "A snake! Stay away! It's tiny but it's cobra all right."

3.) Naga:

  • " You are very beautiful...poor things.."
  • "That's tender bud like you should get such a rotten."
  • "What beautiful, long hair! Like dark, black, snake princess."
  • I'll be back again at night."
  • " Rani! My queen! The fragrance of my nights..! The blossom of my dreams."

3. Read the preface and write something about the basic of the story.

In the preface, we find a ruined temple with a broken idol. A man comes to the temple and says that he was a playwright earlier, who with his plays had made many audiences to sleep. They cursed him to death!

A mendicant had advised him that if he could keep awake at least one whole night he would not die. That day was the last day of the month, and he kept himself awake in order to overcome the curse of death. He then swore to himself that if he could survive that night without sleep, he would have nothing more to do with story writing.

After sometime, he heard some voices and then saw some flames.

4.) 3 scholary article.

Like in most folktales, supernatural elements play the vital role in Nagamandala. Traditional beliefs help generate supernatural elements. There is always some magical power in specific roots, according to traditional belief. Kurudavva gives Rani the magical roots but the root is consumed by a king cobra which results in very interesting twists and turns in the play. Another belief is that the cobra has divine power and it can assume any form it desires. In the play, Naga takes the form of Appanna. It is by the form of Appanna that Rani becomes pregnant. So, in some sense, Rani has nothing to do with this "unlawful" sexual communion. It is with his supernatural powers, Naga saves Rani from her pitiable and dangerous plight prove her chastity.

The story of Appanna also has certain interesting touches. It is believed that some witch or fairy enchanted him away from his lawful wife. Once again, the act of the unfaithful husband is explained away through the use of some mysterious fairy. The identity of the woman who entices Appanna away is unknown and it remains a mystery. Are these anecdotal explanations intended to justify that we as human beings are simply pawns in the hands of the divine, or that these events are inevitably caused by Karma?

Rani, the protagonist of Naga-Mandala, is a typical Indian girl who believes in all the values invented by patriarchal social set-up. She fits in the image of an ideal daughter and ideal wife. She has been an ideal daughter to her parents. She marries Appanna as her parents wanted her to. In patriarchal social set-up, a girl is often granted no right to choose her partner.

The woman is portrayed as dependent in all three phases of her life-as a daughter,as a wife and, as a mother. In Indian society, the woman is said to be complete only after marriage. However, paradoxically she neither belongs to this world or that: her parental home or her husband’s abode. For thewoman, the home is said be an expression of her freedom: it is her domain.
                However, Rani is imprisoned in
her own house by her spouse in routine manner that baffles others with the door locked from the outside. She does not shut the door behind her Nora does in “ A Doll’s House”, but God opens a door in the form of a King Cobra. The king cobra gets seduced by the love potion provided by Kurudavva to Rani to lure, pathetically, her own husband who turns a blind eye to her. The snake assumes the form of a loving Appanna is contrast to the atrocious husband at day. The climax is reached when Rani becomes pregnant and Appanna questions her chastity. Her innocence is proved by virtue of the snake ordeal that the village elders put before her, and she is eventually proclaimed a goddess incarnate.

Edgar Allan Poe Writer of Short Story

This blog is based on classroom activity named "Citation".

The name Edgar Allan Poe conjures images of madmen, murderers and mysterious women who return from the dead. Most famous for his narrative works such as The Raven and the Tell Tale Heart, Poe has been described as the father of Gothic literature. He is widely acknowledged as the inventor of the modern detective story and an innovator in the genre of science fiction, though Poe made his living as America’s first great literary critic and theoretician. His legacy today remains focused on his tales of terror and haunting lyric poetry.

Poe spent many years drowned in bouts of poverty and depression, attempting to deal with his misfortunes through a mixture of drugs and alcohol. Precarious jobs, alcohol and drugs, may have diminished Poe's health, but this did not dampen his creativity, if anything it bolstered his talent.

Poe's life was as dark as his tales. He died under mysterious circumstances just a few weeks before Halloween and the exact cause of his death has never been determined.Despite all the obvious seasonal association , Poe would have resented being labeled " The poet of halloween". A genre he invented to science fiction to uproarious slapstick tales that involve a talking mummy.

Poe's begin at the end philosophy by opening with his horrible and mysterious death. Poe, drunk and delirious around Baltimore to cast votes. "I have an inventret habit of speaking truth", Poe once wrote. If you take Poe's best horror story at face value , they are wonderfully , flawlessly , terrifying , they are also dripig with contempt. Most of the Poe's stories have this campy, floozy "Boo!"  buisness at the end.

Edgar Allan Poe was a bizarre and often scary writer. People throught history have often wondered why his writing were so fantastically different and unusual. They came from a tense & miserable life.

None of Poe's character could ever be normal, since they lived in the bizarre world. All of his hero's are usually alone and if they are on their way to becoming so rapidly.  Another point is Poe writing these stories as he result of a tortured existence and a need to escape or was he writing to please readers and critic..? He also displays very much morbid characteristics and some cases, sadistic. His murderess always seem to delight in killing their victims in the most painful and agonizing way. Still, terror seems to be the main theme. That is what Poe tries to bring about in his stories.

In many of his stories , Poe uses his main character as a first person narrator to heighten suspence and draw readers into the characters situation.  It also gives readers an intimate view of the characters psyche and provide an additional layer of realism to Poe's stories, allowing the readers to feel more connected to and therefore more afraid for the characters.

As a conclusion, Poe's all stroies and writing style overall have impact of spookyness and that is why with his ability to draw such horrible situation makes him spooky Writer.

Blood Donation Camp

As a part of our unit "The Naitingle and The Rose" we decided to organise the Blood Donation Camp. As per our unit we come to know the actual werth of blood. The Naitingle sacrifice her life by giving her blood. In real life we got chance to be someone's Naitingle. It's quite hard to give your blood and you need courage for doing such things.

On 11 January,  A one-day blood donation camp was organised in our college, R. R. Monpara SPEI, Bhavnagar. We were the initiative of the camp. We were participating in it as volunteers. I also contributed in donating. All college even admin staff visited our camp.

We were pre-planned everything and working on this project from last few days. From preparing poster to completed camp all minor details we manage to do. We first go for convincing people and that is so strange that after so many request of us students are not ready to donate blood. Somewhere social myths and their fear are playing major role in thier negative response. Even we are not able to convince faculties. Some of the students shows great vigour in our activity.

Day before camp we all went for some pre-preparation where we learn value of earlier arrangment. We and sir were arranging everything and sir's willingness to do even a small work without hesitation inspired us to do whatever task given to us with potential. As he convenienced all the students and took all of them in task so that they also felt that they are contributing. He single handedly manage everything and also appreciate every person for being there. On the morning we were reaching there earlier and arrange everything.

Our target of the day was that we need atleast 35 people for donations. With an amazing response we got 83 candidates for donation and this shows that when you are doing some work for huminity everyone shall support you. All the colleges and aspecially students shown tremendous response not even them but some of the staff members were also came.

"How health and hemoglobin is important in person's life not for others but for their own health" is the biggest lesson of the day. I am quite surprised in showing that most of the female candidates were not eligible for donations due to lack of Hb and not having enough weight. On the other hand most of the male candidates are eligible. So the ignorance of their health especially in women were somewhere become barrier and though they have willing desire to donate they were not able to do.

Our principal even other were appreciate us and they also put faith in us and that is why we are able to do such things. This is a Frist activity in which we are managing everything by  our own. Even the the team of Blood Bank were so friendly and humble with everyone. Concoletion prize, certificate and some snacks had given by them. Thier task was  challenging though with the paissions they do their work.

Mam was there with us and appreciate us constantly also asking every student who donated their blood for their health. She be with us and gave us courage.

This is my first experience of donating blood and I was so much excited for it. I am grearful that somehow I am eligible to donate blood.

"Feeling proud because you're saving lives"  I found this line worthy because we not only studied the lesson but also put into real life with the help of our teachers. Value of blood is more than your fear so yes we successfully completed our camp. We will hope and looking forward for this type of activities in future.

Movie screening - Review

As on 29 and 30 December we had movie screening in our college . This is first experience of us in which we are watching movie on academic purpose. It was quite challenging task for us because dealing with technological device is new task for us. We faced difficulty in arranging the devices and learnt that pre-planning is most important . Due to academic purpose the "Jay Bhim" movie shown to us. This arrangement had done by Vipul sir.

Here is Interpretation of this movie...

Jai Bhim (Victory to Bhim) is a 2021 Indian Tamil-language legal drama film directed by T. J. Gnanavel and produced by Jyothika and Suriya under 2D Entertainment. The film stars Suriya, Lijomol Jose and Manikandan, with Rajisha Vijayan, Prakash Raj, Rao Ramesh and others in supporting roles. The film deals with the subject of police bias and state violence against a marginalised community.

Based on a true incident in 1993, which involves a case fought by Justice K. Chandru, it revolves around the lives of Sengeni and Rajakannu, a couple from the rular tribe. Rajakannu was arrested by the police, and was later missing from the police station. Sengeni seeks the help of an advocate Chandru to seek justice for her husband.

The storyline is based on tribal people's struggle. The harsh reality of that people is so horrible in nature that even I am not able to seen those scene.

Cast:

Adv. Chandru: a lawyer who fights cases for tribal communities.

Sengeni Rajakannu: a tribal women who wants justice for her missing husband.

Rajakannu: Sengeni 's husband who dies in police custody.

Alli Rajakannu: Sengeni and Rajakannu's daughter.

Mythra: an adult teacher for the Irula tribe.

IG Perumalsamy: the lead officer of the case.

Ram Mohan: Advocate general .

DGP Radha krishnan

Irutappan: Rajakannu's brother.

Mosakutty: Rajakannu's brother in law.

SI Gurumoorthy: a casteist cop and one of the murderers.

Head Constable Veerasamy: one of the murderers.

Constable Kirubakaran: one of the murderers.

* First in the beginning there were a lots of scenes in which the minor struggle reflects that how they all survive their lives by catching rats and snacks of village. Dealing with such poisonous Animals and putting their life in danger like death.

*Though they are helping villager they are not allow to stay in village. They have to stay outside of village where not single facilities available.

* Mythra trying to teach them and want that they all become educated. So that small change can help them in knowing thier basic rights.

*The harsh reality is that there were no space for them in society and they are voiceless. If any crime would take place their then they blam this schedule tribe for that.

* They are choosing life over thier respect and that why they confess the crime . Though they didn't do that crime they choose to confess. The torture and the death is become their results if they are not accepting it.

* Narrator also lied in same situation and his family members including her pregnant wife suffer a lot. The horrible torture had given to all that showing the evilness and the lowest cruel mentality of the police. I felt so inferior for those victims and felt hatred for the police.

*All police members of that station are so cruel ascept one. They are not human they are evils ,devils no humity were left in thier body they are like wild animals who had no emotions.

*The whole system including government is cruupt and that is why the people who hasn't voice suffer a lot.

* Power of money makes people blind and cruuption lies in root of the man's nature that is why people thinks that money can buy people too. But the Sangini sets best example to be honest and intergrety .

*Duaghter of narrator was taking education and become wiser though she suffer a lot in all the situation.

*Chandru sets great example of lawyer and showing the power of law. Strong character of Chandru won the heart of mine. His ability to observe a things that emotional aspects of him, his paossion ,his attitude , his aura all makes this character strongest.

*He solve 7000 cases in one day though there was strike of lawyer still he comes for his case hearation. This show is ability and dignity towards his work. He gave his all to solve all the cases.

*Connecting every clue with eachother is much more harder and he conducted all the clue make chain and solve the case. He was feeling guilty that he is not able to save narrator. But his foresight and experience took  his character beyond the reality.

*Character of IG is setting an example for every police man to being honest and give support to the victims. He was honestly investigate whole case and gave great help to Chandru by his excellency. He deserves all the respect because he was the first police officer in the movie who visit that people and hear reality . He choose his honest duty over his department's value. This shown that no matter what happened with you , you have to choose right way. Best supportive character for Chandru.

*Character of Mythra is also best supportive character for Sangini and trible people she stands with them and fight for them till the end. She also desired for development of their people and great help of her make Sangini able to get justice.

* Evidence is main symbol of the story because that is only one thing which help to win this habeas corpus case. He was very sharp minded person and that is why from the beginning at zero evidence to solve this case he collected all the things and gave justice to them.

* Tribal people and their rituals on the death of narrator was quite surprising for me but the brave Sangini not took step back in it.

* Rice mill owner, Doctor, Tea Maker, other two victims play major role in solving the case and in climax too.

* Foolish police man done so many mistakes in vanishing the real incident but sharp mind of Chandru took victory. Cruelty of that police men and their foolishness combinly able to throw the light on reality.

*Both the judges shown great paissions in whole case somehow they also have sympathy with this tribal. They didn't escape from the reality of police department as well as goverment and that is why they gave right justice to the victims.

* How neatly you have to investigate when you wanted to find real clue and Chandru and IG travel a lot for real clue.

*Every song of the movie are coming with such message. By whole story writer do satire on the society, government, police department.

"Every rockey fields there is moisture."

"To held up there will be another soul."

"If you trust there will be another tomorrow."

"There are no limits come, time is ours."

"Wherever you may go, the golden sky will be by you."

At last when tribal got their justice I believed that humanity was not died yet. There will be justice for everyone. Believe and fight with right ethics. Stand with truth and you will win.

"Heathen "- The Atheist

1. Write down the meaning of the word "Heathen" . Are you Heathen ? If yes then how?  If no then why?

Heathen is a dated term used primarily of someone who is not religious, or whose religion is not Judaism, Islam, or especially Christianity. It is also sometimes used disapprovingly of someone who is not cultured; this use is also dated.

In short a person who does not belong to one of the main world religions.

I think am in Heathen because I am not believing in any particular god  I am believing in one single power like universe and that rules the world there is not any idols which is so important to me . They all are different versions of that single power but at the end it is one super power.

2. Who is that person in your life whom you see as a person created his own way..?

I don't meet any person yet like this.

3. Charley and Otoo give some serious friendship goal. Write views about that.

In this story Charley and Otoo exchanges each other's name this is showing that how much devotion they have for each other. It's not just a ne but whole person and their identity both are given to each other. By this according to me Charley is trying to give proper space in society to Otto.

-  Other is Otto's great devotion towards Charley because in every situation especially in bad circumstances he tried to stand with him and was trying to get him out from that.

- At last and the highest pick of their friendship is Otto sacrifice his life. This shown the realness of them.

- Another aspects is there is no community or caste boundry between friends and not the class of person affecting in it.
